Life’s Journey

Virginia Lee Warren was born July 12, 1951 to the union of Rudolph Warren, Sr. and Lois Mae Warren who resided in Fresno, Texas. The Lord called her home on July 20, 2023. Virginia’s father and brother Rudolph Warren, Jr preceded her in death.

Virginia was known as Jen to family and friends. She was a quiet person and had a giving, kind heart and grew up in Fresno Texas. She attended Oak Lane Elementary in Arcola, Texas and John Foster Dulles Middle School in Sugar Land, Texas. She graduated in 1971 from John Foster Dulles High School.

She received Christ under the leadership of the late Pastor Tom Burton, Jr. at Mount Corinth Baptist Church in Fresno, Texas. She loved cooking, sewing and being with family and friends.

Virginia is survived by her devoted companion John Johnson, mother Lois Warren, sisters Debra Burton, Linda Hardison, Dorothy Lawson, brother Don Warren, stepsons Theron Henry, John Johnson Jr., granddaughter Jathera Henry, aunts Betty Whitfield, Minnie McCruse, uncle Charles Perkins, sister in laws Gwen Warren, Rosa Johnson, Ninetta Johnson, Alexie Johnson, brother in law Dorsey Lewis, a host of nieces, nephews, numerous family and friends.
