Life’s Journey

Our beloved, Trygve D. Cosby transitioned peacefully to his heavenly home on February 3rd, 2023. Born to Richard G. Cosby and Edythe L. (Randolph) Cosby in Camden, New Jersey, the second eldest of four children. Known as “Trig”, “Pete” or “Dwight”, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and a lover of jazz, he married his wife of 48 years, in Ipswich, England, where stationed, as a proud member of the United States Air Force. Completing his degree in Computer Science at New Mexico State University, “Trig” was a respected computer analyst for a variety of companies for over twenty years, before becoming a teacher in Fort Bend ISD, where he retired.

Trig was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Denise Cosby, and grandson, Dwight Christian Baylor.

Trig is survived by his wife, Pashun (Cowan) Cosby, daughter Ebony L. Baylor, PhD (Raymond), son Robert Herbert, brother Larry D. Randolph (Pat), sister Dionne Cosby Davis (Paul), granddaughters Shaffon, Iyonna and Lorayia, grandsons Raymond Baylor, III, and Jeremiah, great grandchildren, Nehemiah, Messiah, Jesiah, Aa’riah and Starr, nieces Rosalind and Eden, and nephew Mikey.
