Life’s Journey

Terry Jerome Bailey was born in Houston, TX to proud parents, Robert Bailey, and Doris Bailey on November 24th, 1961. Terry was the third child of 5 children in his parents’ union. Terry passed away on December 10th, 2023, at home peacefully with his loving family.

Terry was the husband of Donna Bailey and the stepfather to (Dionne Powers) they shared years of marriage together. He worked for the Oak Farm Milk Company for many years, before retiring. He was a member of God’s Way M.B.C., Pastor Tyrone P. Spriggs. He was also, a musician at God’s Way Church and loved playing the bongos. He was the proud member of the band MIP and performed for many years.

Terry preceded in death by father, Robert Bailey, and grandparents Alonzo & Ola Mae Fantroy and Walter Woodard & Altha Lee Bailey.

Left to cherish his memories, Spouse Donna Bailey, Mother Doris J. Bailey, Great Aunt Madella Fantroy, Two brothers Calvin L. Bailey and Tracy L. Bailey (Catricia), Two sisters Jennifer M. Bailey and Patricia D. Small, One stepbrother Elder Jerry Riggins (Kathryn), Three stepsisters Narvel Jackson, Melba Sheley (Michael), and Carol Jeffrey. And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to his band MIP, for all the love and support through the years. Terry truly cherished his friendship with each and every one of you.
