Life’s Journey

Tamadj Janae’ Tate (AKA Shady) was born August 20, 1997, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Renota Edwards. She had no siblings. She joined St John Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland, Ca, under the leadership of Pastor Gregory B. Payton, where she was Baptized and Loved the Lord. She later moved to Houston, Tx, in 2013, where she attended Thurgood Marshall High School in Missouri City, Tx, where she Graduated in 2015. She battled Type 1 Diabetes at 15 months which did not require her to work much as she got older. On June 26, 2022, she lost her battle with Diabetes. Tamadj was such a loving, quiet, sweet and respectful young lady whom if you came in contact with, you loved her. Tamadj preceds in death her Grandmothers Maxine Tate Scott and Muriel Edwards Madison, an Uncle Christopher Jerome Tate, along with other Uncles and Cousins. Tamadj leaves to cherish her memories, her Mother Renota Edwards, Grandmother Rhonda Gardley, Grandfather James Tate, one Uncle Julius Tate(Monique Tate), one Aunt Rolanda Nidibe (Lawrence Nidibe), along with a host of Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
