Life’s Journey
Our beloved mom Mrs. Sylvia Jean Spottsville Morris passed away with her family by her side to be with her Heavenly Father on December 15th 2024. She was 70 years old. Sylvia was born to parents late Wander Hardy and the late Eleanor Kelsey. She was adopted by the late Edward and the late Lydia Spottsville.
Sylvia lived her life to the fullest. She was a very hardworking person and didn’t take any slack from anyone. She was firm but everyone knew that they had to be on one accord. In lieu of that, she told many jokes, made you laugh, she was charismatic and very honest, she would express self in a minute. Sylvia got baptized in 2016, rededicated her life to Christ and she became a member of Second Baptist Church. She joined the choir and she loved going to church, choir practice, and bible study to engage with her church family.
Sylvia was full of life and always cared for everyone and very willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved watching her SoapOperas and the evening news. Sylvia really cherished her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved everyone in her own special way.
Sylvia will be remembered by her five children Delvin, Derrycke, Deronique (Joe), DeJohnold (Janet) and Dean Wayne. Six grandchildren Banana, Tazman, Treetop, Papa Jo, JonJon and Mumu. Five great-grandchildren Legs, Zay, Firecracker, Pebbles and Bam. Three Sisters Brenda (BJ), Pamela (PJ), and Avia. Sylvia’s Aunt Dee, Nieces and Nephews Snoopy, Favorite Ducky, Monique, Nikki, Bubba, Shon and Tuthi. Best friend Lillie and numerous relatives and friends.
