Life’s Journey

Sandy Julian, Jr. was born in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late Annie Mae and Sandy Julian, Sr. He was the second of four sons. He was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers Dave Edward and Timothy Julian. On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, he peacefully went to sleep in death with his wife at his side.

Sandy dedicated his life to Jehovah God and symbolized that by baptism in 1963. He attended the Kingdom Hall in Grasselli Heights in Birmingham, AL. and Southwest Congregation in Houston, Texas.

He attended Wenonah Elementary School and graduated from Wenonah High School in 1965. He was an excellent student and a member of the varsity Basketball Team.

Sandy was a very hard worker. He worked telecommunications for Southwestern Bell, Bell South, and Universal Communications Systems. He retired from Asurion as a Telecommunications Manager. During his employment, he maintained and managed his own business on the side. He was a loving husband, an excellent father, and a great provider.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife of 44 years Andrea Julian, three sons, Sandy III, Michael (Suzette), Edmond (Rashina) Julian, all of Texas. Six grandchildren, Jordan, Heavion, Hailey Julian, Anita Julian, Lauren Julian, and Camille (Nathan) McDuell. One great-granddaughter, Mia Julian all of Texas. One brother, James Julian of Birmingham, AL. Special cousin Annette (Rodney) Turner of Pearland, Texas. One Aunt, Pearl Kidd of Cleveland, Ohio. Two Brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Jehovah is our refuge, our God in whom we trust.
