Life’s Journey
Preston “Pre$$ham” James Brown was born November 19th, 1975 in Houston, Texas. Preceded in death by Lessie B. Brown (grandmother), Preston James Seymore (father), and Fannie Brown-Chacier (mother). Preston loved to talk and gave good advice etc. He was an avid book reader, video game player, and movie watcher. He attended Blackshear Elementary and Jack Yates High School. Preston dedicated his life to Christ through baptism at Missouri City Church of Christ is 2018. Preston fought a year-long battle with Kidney Cancer. He continued to fight until the end, Doctors told him there was nothing they could do. Preston did not give up in his fight with Cancer.
Preston James Brown is survived by Quinnetia L. Gaines-Brown (wife), Jeremiah Hopes-Brown (son), Jalon Hopes-Brown (son), Kiran Brown (son), Brionna Hopes (step-daughter), Jovan Chacier (brother), Blake Chacier (brother), Lateese Chacier (sister-in-law), Tyvinchia Broussard-Seymore (sister), Jovan Chacier Jr. (nephew), Lashanti Alexis Chacier (niece), Blake Chacier Jr. (nephew), Albany Chacier (nephew), Sir Wesley Chacier (nephew), Pamela Seymore (aunt), Darlene Lewis (aunt), Kelvin Seymore (uncle), Addie Brown (aunt) a host of cousins and extended family.
