Gregory accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Albert McDaniel Sr. Gregory was a member of the youth choir and youth Usher Board.
Gregory was educated in the Houston Independent School District and graduated from Booker T Washington High School Engineering Program in May 2006. He furthered his education at Prairie View A&M University and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering in May 2011. Gregory pledged Delta Theta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma from PVAMU. While attending Prairie View A&M University, Gregory met his future wife, Roshanna Williams, and they were married on November 29, 2009. He was currently employed with Strategy Engineering LLC. and was seen as a great mentor and coworker.
Gregory was a dedicated and hard working husband and father. He took great pride in his children’s athletic endeavors and accomplishments. Gregory was a true Sneakerhead and he made sure that everyone around him had at least one pair. He also loved all genres of music but his favorite artists were Brett Young and Z-Ro. Gregory had an infectious smile, he lived his life to the fullest, and left a mark on this earth.
Gregory traded his earthly life for his heavenly life on December 7, 2021. He leaves to celebrate his life well lived. He leaves to cherish his wife Roshanna Washington, children Braylynn Betts, Adynn, Gregory “Arian”, Payton and Ryan Washington. He also leaves mother D’Andrea Brown, father Gregory Washington Sr.(Shawnda) grandparents Wilbert and Joan Brown, Huey Sr. and Ollie Washington; sisters Ashley, Kristen, Chelsea Washington, Joanisha Osborne, and Syntillia Mavins (deceased); brothers Donte’ Washington and Carlos Mavins Jr.; father and mother in love Jesse and Ramona Williams Jr., sister in love Rolanda Williams; aunt Tonya Brown; uncles Cedric Brown, Edward Washington, Huey Washington Jr.(Shemika); god-parents Margaret Kirby, Paul Miller along with numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
