Life’s Journey

Khalessi, Our Little Warrior, Forever Loved

Our sweet Khalessi Nyree Azaria Holden was born October 29, 2018 to the loving parents of Dijerra Torrence and Andrew Holden. She has brought boundless joy and laughter to her family and friends as she had just started kindergarten in August and she loved school. She loved her teacher Ms. Fabregas dearly and was also so excited to go to school and play and eat lunch with her best friend Isabella. Her contagious smile, infectious giggle and beautiful spirit touched and affected everyone that knew her. She had an unrelenting love for coloring, playing with her dolls and doing commentary, dancing , taking pictures, helping her mom cook, she loved jumping and being rough with her daddy as he was her gentle giant, she also loved doing TikTok’s with her parents and spending time with her sister and family.  She was literally the life of the party.

Despite the challenges of sickle cell anemia Khalessi remained an inspiration. She faced every doctor’s visit and hospital stay with bravery that amazed everyone around her and through her own illness she still cared for other children and wanted to send them well wishes. Her family is forever grateful for all of the doctors and nurses who cared for her and the many friends and family members who offered love, support, and prayers throughout her journey of life.

On November 25, 2024, Khalessi she was welcomed in to Heaven by her great grandparents. Khalessi leaves behind her loving parents (Dijerra Torrence and Andrew Holden), her cherished siblings(Anaiyah, Jacyeon, Ny’Leah, Amir and Dior) and her adoring grandparents (Kolesha Martin [Nanny], James Torrence [PaPa] Debraux Wilson [Grandma] and Larry Holden [Papa Larry] ), an abundance of aunties, uncles and cousins. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit, her joy, and her love will continue to fill our hearts forever.

Long Live Princess Khalessi #Forever6
