Life’s Journey

Jaymie Lynn Hughes, daughter of Ernest Hughes and Yaeko Kawabata, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on March 27, 1957, Jaymie was a dedicated Human Resources Manager known for her professionalism, compassion, and commitment to her work.  She was celebrated for her unwavering commitment to her career and her deep love for her family.

Throughout her professional journey, she excelled in her role as a human resources manager, where her leadership, compassion, and dedication left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the many lives she touched.

Jaymie is survived by her two beloved sons, Jerron and Delon, who were the pride of her life. She is also survived by her nieces, Janise and Jenelle, and her nephew, Marcus, who brought her much joy. Additionally, she will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Lavelle and Reccie, along with her unborn grandson, whose arrival she looked forward to with great anticipation.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Jaymie’s life and legacy. The family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Jaymie.

Her family and friends will forever cherish the love and memories shared with Jaymie Lynn Hughes.
