Heston is survived by his mother, Jean Murray; his father, Franco Murray; his brother, Shelton Murray; and his sister, Marsh Murray; his partner, Shannon Griffin; his stepson, Shannon Fairbanks; stepdaughter, Jade Fairbanks; granddaughter, Lea Webber; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

I always enjoyed working with Heston on our projects 15 years ago when he worked for KBR. He was a dedicated worker and a great colleague. He helped me to build new laboratories and was an excellent craftsman. We had lots of laughs together. I am saddened to have learned only recently of his passing. God Speed, Heston!
