Life’s Journey
On February 29, 1936, a beautiful baby girl was born to William and Nita Brunson in Bascom, Florida, they named her “Geraldine.”
She was the third of seven born to this union. Geraldine attended Rosenwald High School in Panama City, Florida.
She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. Geraldine met and married the love of her life Fred Allen Taylor Sr. Fred joined the Navy and traveled the world with his family for 32 years before moving and retiring to Houston. Geraldine loved sewing and her special hobby was shopping with her daughter-in-law “Cheryl”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred Sr, two sons: Gerald and William Taylor.
Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories, two sons Fred Jr. and Preston Taylor of Houston, TX, one daughter: Valerie Henton, Panama City, Florida. Siblings: Ida Orum, Evelyn Lewis and Robert Brunson, all of Panama City, Florida. Myra Williams of Pensacola, Florida. Five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
