Life’s Journey

Today we are here to celebrate the well spent life and home going of Mr. Eugene Jackson Sr. Today is the day of the Lord. Let us give thanks and the glory to God for God is the author and the finisher of our faith. Mr. Eugene Jackson was born December 12 1946 to Mary Brown and Ernest Jackson. In the summer of 1963 he met a young lady, Betty Allen. They both deeply fell in love with each other. It was something magical and spiritual about the relationship from the very beginning. After dating for five years, they were united in holy matrimony on February 12, 1968. They both accepted Christ and were baptized at Peaceful Rest Missionary Church under the leadership of Rev. Raymond Shepherd. Both were active in the church and God blessed them with six children. They made very sure that their children at an early age attended church and became active in church as well. At the time of Mr. Eugene Jackson’s passing they were deeply bonded together and had been married over 56 years. God blessed them with a fruitful and abundant life.

His mother (Mary) & Father (Ernest) , Brothers (Tommy, Alfred, Sammy, Benny, & Donald), His baby girl (Elisa) all preceded him before his death. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Betty Jackson, four daughters Carol Jackson, Ardra Brown , Kimberly Green ( Walter) & Diana Jackson. One son Eugene Jackson Jr. (Norma) Siblings: Raymond Brown Jr., Alton Brown, & Barbara Washington. Nine grandchildren Robert Owens Jr., Roderick Owens, Jennifer Owens, Darold Gaul, TeJahl Jackson, Alijah Brown, Kreshae Quao (Enoch), Annecia Green, Alannah Green.
