Life’s Journey

Dominique Katrell Nelms was born June 6,1993 to Brigette Lavergne and Space Nelms at Sharpstown General Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dominique followed in his father’s footsteps showing a love and passion for cars, his city, family, and friends. He attended Hightower High School and got an early start to his career by attending a top trade school provided by his employer, NISSAN Automotives, as a Master Mechanic until his passing.

Dominique’s hobbies and interests included fishing, gaming, music, sports, and spending time celebrating with family and friends.
On March 8,2022, Dominique welcomed his first and only child, Nikko Karter Nelms. Sadly, on December 11,2024, you were called home.

Dominique will always be fondly remembered by his contagious laughter, and smile, his words of advice, wisdom, and the outpouring love and support he had for family and friends. While you were only here for 31 years, you lived life unapologetically according to your standards.

Dominique leaves behind his mother, Brigette Bright and siblings, Tony Williams, Phylicia Lavergne, Joseph and Eric Banks, and his son, Nikko Karter Nelms.
