Life’s Journey

Deshawn Leleon Brown was born March 12th, 1998 to Andriene Brown and Bernard Duncan in Arcola, TX. Deshawn attended and graduated from Alief Taylor High School in Houston, TX. After graduating Deshawn served in the Marines for 4 years at Camp Pendleton in California, after serving he came home to Texas and attended school obtaining a degree in welding and also Apprentice Electrician. Deshawn was always an extremely motivated young man who wanted to be the best he could be. He always pushed himself to reach all his life goals and accomplishments. Deshawn was a smart, kind, generous, loving young man who was soft-spoken and gentle. He would do anything for his family although he was quiet when he spoke, he had many words of wisdom beyond his years. Deshawn loved his sisters with whom he had a close bond and would do anything for them.

Last but not least was his love for his baby, his dog Mille. Deshawn proceeded in death by grandfather (Garry Lee Brown), grandmother (Gwendolyn Flecther), also, great-grandmother (Gloria Washington), great-grandfather (Joe Nathan Washington), and great-grandmother (Elizabeth Lewis). Deshawn leaves to cherish his memories, his mother (Andriene Brown), father (Charles Duncan), step-father ( Ray Murphy); Sisters (Devyn Robinson) and (Raelyn Blow), step-brother (Rayvon Murphy), Aunt (Jessica Brown), Uncles ( Garrett Brown), (Quinton Brown) and (Elton Duncan); Grandmother (Mary Duncan). Also, a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles, relatives, and friends who all love and will miss him dearly.
