Life’s Journey
Cherlyn Ann “Perry” Chatman was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Eric and Norma Lee Perry. She departed this life Saturday, June 17th, 2023. She graduated from Lake Charles High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Cheryln departed this life on Saturday, June 17th, 2023. She was a graduate of Lake Charles High School. She loved spending time with her family and watching sports. Cheryln was employed with Alief Independent School District for 27 years.
Cherlyn Ann Chatman leaves to cherish her memory her sons Terrell (Andrea) Perry of Richmond, TX, and Shannon Perry of Houston, TX; granddaughters Irenique Perry of San Antonio, TX; Taylor Perry of Baltimore, MD, Tena Perry of Richmond, TX and Zionique Perry of Lake Charles, LA; one great-grandson Mikah Nulisch of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Cynthia Duffie of Temple, TX and Deborah George of Lake Charles, LA; cousin, Mark Perron; two aunts, Gloria Clement and Clara Joubert and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Cheryln was preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Norma Lee Perry. Sister Donna Perry and brothers Eric Perry and Kenneth Perry; grandparents Julius and Essie Charles and Nancy Higgins; and aunt Luna Perry.
